Lincoln Crime Report January 2019 Summary

Above are the crime statistics as reported by the Lincoln Police Department for January of 2019. Compared to January of last year, we’ve witnessed a significant drop in the number or residential burglaries down 37% (51 total). There’s also been an increase in the number of commercial locations being targeted up 52.9% (26 total) and also an increase in robbery up 37% (11 total).

These figures obviously fluctuate from month to month, but it is important to watch for trends and to be aware whats going on in your community.

The above map represents location and saturation of total recorded crimes for the past year. Areas pixelated darker blue have seen more crime reported. If you wish to take a closer look, this tool can be found here. In total, there were 1016 reports of burglary during this time.
